SUBMISSION DEADLINES//

Submissions for the 6th Annual Damah Film Festival are now closed.

We will be taking submissions for next year's festival in the coming months. In the mean time consider joining us for the Damah Film Festival in May. Check out our festival page for more information.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR//

As a film festival dedicated to expressing and exploring spiritual themes, Damah places special value on the power of story. We encourage filmmakers from diverse perspectives to voice the spiritual aspect of the human experience—experimenting with the struggle, wonder, awe and surprise of the spiritual journey.

Our only requirement is that the film must be 30 minutes or less. Any genre is acceptable.

While such explorations may on occasion call for themes and images which may be offensive to some, in general, Damah values artistic skills that convey a full spectrum of human emotion and experience, without being explicitly or gratuitously violent or obscene.

AWARDS//

Over the past 6 years, Damah has awarded over $45,000 in Cash Prizes to our filmmakers. For the 2006 festival, Damah will award $1,000 for best of show.
